Running Class Photography — FREEDOM x GTTEND Running Club "First Drop"

Crew running with FREEDOM flags along the Han River, bridge in the background — FADEIN STUDIO running class shoot

FREEDOM, a Korean fitness brand, teamed up with running club GTTEND for their first collab session, "First Drop," and FADEIN STUDIO covered it as a running class shoot. From gear checks outside the bakery, to running action along the Han River, to group celebration shots at the finish — we followed the whole session.

Before the start — the short window of gear checks

A running class shoot isn't finished with running shots alone. Adjusting a running vest tag, retying shoelaces, checking a teammate's gear — these pre-start moments show the nervous energy of the day. FREEDOM goods bags stacked outside the bakery, the GTTEND banner — we caught the collab mood first.

Running class action — staying with the crew, not stopping

Once the crew starts running, it doesn't stop. The shooter has to read the route ahead and get in position first, to capture the real speed of the line moving through the tree-lined path or along the riverside. It has to be a running photo, not a walking one, for running class content to be convincing.

Han River overlook — the whole crew in one frame

At a scenic overlook midway through the course, the entire crew comes into one frame — resting against the railing with the bridge and skyline behind, flag-bearers turned back toward the camera. These are the shots that show the scale of a brand running club.

After the finish — when the expressions are best

Back at the bakery, the whole crew applauding and cheering together, high-fives at the counter, arms raised with the GTTEND banner, a solo dynamic pose with a grin — the expression right after the finish can't be directed. You have to catch it in the one or two minutes right after.

Frequently asked

What does a running class shoot cover?

We cover the whole session: gear checks at the start point (a bakery, in this case), the actual non-stop running action, and the group celebration and finish shots afterward — photo and video together. The shooter reads the route ahead of time to catch real running speed, not posed walking shots.

How is running crew / brand shooting different from HYROX personal coverage?

Running crew and brand-run coverage is about capturing the whole crew and the brand mood on the day. HYROX personal coverage follows one athlete (or one team) the entire race. FADEIN STUDIO covers both the same way: photo and video, one team, at the same time.

What is the FREEDOM x GTTEND Running Club?

It is a collaboration between Korean fitness brand FREEDOM and running club GTTEND, launched with a session called "First Drop" that started at a bakery and ran along the Han River. FADEIN STUDIO shot the event in photo and video.
